Thought I'd take advantage of getting to use a fancy journal and send you all an update <3

Schoolwise, everything's going well. I realized today that I've skipped half my Thursday classes so far this term because of weather. I'm hoping that bad weather limits itself to days I have off so I don't have to drive in it... But I nerd-ed my way through first term, staying above the 80% I need to keep my scholarships for next year. Fingers crossed I keep that this term too! This term seems like it might be more difficult though, so I'm being nerdy and making study sheets every weekend (hopefully, at least, aha) and reviewing my lecture notes to make them easier to study later.

I'll have some art updates over the next little bit... finally! I made Katey's birthday present and I'm making a few other things for myself when I take breaks from writing notes and readings... my photography has really fallen to the side - so I'm sorry for everyone who watches me for that - hopefully I get back into it soon. I was close to taking some photos yesterday and it was just too cold out for my tastes, aha.

And I got a puppy! Her name is Nova (and I'm either getting another puppy (named Cassa or Super) or I'm making her a cape so she can be SUPERNOVA - yes, in all caps) Everything about this puppy is holiday related: my dog, Buddy died on Labour day, Nova was born on Halloween and we got her New Years day. She's a real sweetie and she's actually my old dog's baby. She's super cuddly and I love her.  Click here and here for photos of her <3
