merry christmas, everyone!

or happy hanukah, kwanza or any other holiday that's celebrated around this time :3 whatever you celebrate, I wish everyone the best, whether you're celebrating with family, friends or by yourself.
one of my dad's christmas gifts
this is a book my mom got for my dad... but he guessed that she'd bought it about a week ago. so to disguise its existence, I wrapped it in a few layers of newspaper, but it in a box, taped the box shut, wrapped it in more newspaper, placed it another box, wrapped that in more newspaper and put it in yet another box. and newspapers. and finally in a large gift bag. and to make it more interesting, there are random layers of wrapping paper, each with a new "to" on it.
I'm hopefully going to be art-ing again soon... not until Tuesday at the earliest and then some of it will be gifts, so I can't post right away. But, just know that I have a lot of ideas... I just haven't had the time or the motivation to engage them yet.

hey guys, I really don't mean to keep neglecting you D:
I keep getting random creative spurts, but being too lazy to actually do anything about it, aha. Hopefully I get back into it soon :3
life's been crazy since I last updated. goodness. first semester went from crazy stressful to lovely to a bit stressful again to over. I miss it so much :c second semester's been decent, though I still prefer my classes from last semester. being geeky and taking studies in literature was really helpful for english this semester - same teacher, same teaching style, same assignments... just on different books.
I disappeared for eleven days - not that anyone would be able to notice, I'm so absent D: my grandparents, for their anniversary wanted to get the family together so they chipped in a bit for each of their kids to go on a cruise. because they wanted everyone together, my parents ended up going over march break.. and taking me <3 it was such a good experience and a really nice break from all the drama of life. (though right when I left everything just went crazy. I felt bad for not being here.) sadly, I really wasn't feeling creative at all when I went away... so my photos are mainly standard tourist photos :c my mom and I are going to make scrapbooks of the trip.. at some point. we have something like 2000 photos to go through, aha. I'm really excited about it.
I've been really into re/upcycling lately and scrapbooking and I'm hoping to have an epiphany some day of the perfect way to combine the two. I haven't figured it out yet, but.
